Lean Coach

For our client, an international food manufacturer, with a well-recognized brand, we are looking for an experienced person to take the position of:

Lean Coach

Purpose of the position: As a Lean Coach you will enable people to reach their potential, thus optimizing their own performance and the value they add to the Organization, additionally cutting down the wastes and ensuring that the existing processes are made more efficient.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Act as a role model and identify opportunities, develop solutions, and implement action plans for Lean & Business improvements.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of Continuous Improvement and cooperation.
• Plan and lead optimization projects to eliminate wastes and reduce costs.
• Improve operational efficiency, productivity and clarity in organizational vision.
• Conduct projects, workshops and coordinate knowledge transfer together with the Lean Organization.
• Monitor and analyze performance indicators of production processes to derive improvement measures and actions.
• Develop high standards and promote them through personal example.
• Motivate, train and coach others in order to achieve operational success.

Qualifications:

• Technical / Manufacturing related degree.
• At least 3 years’ experience in production environment (potentially in optimization or processes area).
• Knowledge & experience in the application of lean methods & tools.
• Proven project management skills.
• Good analytical skills and a high level of self-initiative.
• Contagious positive energy and desire to face challenges and deliver better solutions.
• Hands-on attitude & high level of commitment.
• Willingness to grow within the Organization (Growth Mindset).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology (Six Sigma Green Belt and proven track record would be a big advantage).
• Very good German skills (min. B1).
• Good English skills (min. A2).
• Valid category B driving license.
