Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales to identify and anticipate customer opportunities.
- Create white papers, application notes, and other technical documents and presentations for our technology.
- Clearly summarize and communicate customer technical issues to the Engineering team and drive their resolution.
- Attain expert-level proficiency with our products and tools, including control interfaces and configuration settings for customer designs.
- Showcase evaluation platforms at customer sites, trade shows, and conferences.
- Collaborate with customer engineers in their labs.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps with insights from customer feedback and industry trends.
- Work with software and tools teams to develop features and content for customer evaluation, debugging, and end-system deployment.
- Independently handle on-site debugging of customer platforms.
- Coordinate with engineers globally within the FAE, AE, and engineering functions and with customers.
Requirements – Experience
- Proven experience working directly with customers and ODMs on high-speed communications systems.
- Strong understanding of high-speed networking applications and designs in consumer and hyperscale environments.
- Background in supporting ODMs and OEMs with firmware and software driver integration of communication devices or blocks.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or equivalent).
- Familiarity with hardware debug tools and JTAG.
- Experience with logic and protocol analyzers.
- Skilled in working in embedded environments with in-depth knowledge of operating systems and device driver integration/configuration.
- Knowledge of PCIe BMC software, Intel C-scripts, AMDXIO, and/or USB power delivery firmware is advantageous.
- Experience supporting customer projects throughout the product life cycle, focusing on pre-sales, EVT/DVT/PVT, and transitioning designs to mass production.
- Familiarity with protocols/interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, USB, and CX.
